Domenico Clerico Barolo Pajana DOCG 2009
Critical Acclaim Barolo: less obvious and definitely more flirtatious, this gorgeous wine has subtle hints of licorice, dark fruit, anisette and Middle Eastern spice in front of your nose. A beautiful ripeness of fruit here with dried strawberries and sliced mushroom aromas. Full body, with polished and round tannins and a cedar, mahogany and dried berry aftertaste. Needs at least two or three years of bottle age.
