Pietradolce Archineri Etna Bianco DOC 2016
Lovely acidity and great minerality are characteristics of terrain, which is undoubtedly the best for Etna whites. Structured wine, with complex aromas of grapefruit and herbs; fresh and flavorful, long finish. Made from old vines ranging between 100 and 120-years-old, this vibrant white opens with aromas suggesting citrus, orchard fruit, linden blossom, acacia and a whiff of beeswax. On the savory, radiant palate, a mineral vein underscores green apple, grapefruit, and aromatic herb. Give this a few more years to fully develop.
